Our project aims to offer a social experience that tunes into each participant’s emotional state upon their arrival at the event to suggest groupings and affiliations to them.
Assuming each line is a second, we read 60 seconds of a participant’s brainwaves and then take the average of that. Using the person’s average, we assign to them a variable related to an emotional state, e.g., happy, sad, angry, or tired. Having been assigned an emotional state, the host then escorts each participant to a group or table that features people with similar attitudes.
